Yenher Holdings Berhad has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Bioloop Sdn. Bhd. on 2 December 2024 to establish a joint venture collaboration to set up a Black Soldier Fly plant, the bioconversion of organic waste, and the manufacturing of frass and BSF protein. The estimated project value is up to RM10 million, with an aim to produce up to 1,500mt of fresh BSF larvae and up to 5,500mt of frass (organic fertiliser) annually.
